Krave Gym’s Covid Protocols

We want to ensure our athletes that we’re taking every measure possible to keep our facilities and them safe during this crisis. We’re following the guidance of our governor, the Iowa Department of Public Health and the Center for Disease Control to help prevent the spread of the covid-19 virus. As all things right now if you feel sick please for the safety of everyone stay home. Alert your medical professional if you have severe symptoms related to the covid outbreak. Stay informed and visit coronavirus.iowa.gov for all state wide updates. The following information will be updated as we respond to the daily changes in re-opening or future closures mandated by the state of Iowa.

New Gym Protocols as of 6.1.20

Available Services:

  • Small Group Performance Training
  • 1 on 1 sessions/Personal Training
  • Open Gym Sessions – During Non-Group Training Hours
  • Virtual Workouts

The Following Protocols will be enforced to maintain the safety of our athletes and staff:

  • You must complete you covid waiver before returning to the gym – check your email
  • Do a self health assessment prior to coming to the gym or booking a session
    • If you are experiencing any of the following symptoms: cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fever, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell; or think you have been exposed to someone who has had or has covid-19 in the past 2-14 days DO NOT ENTER.
    • Seek medical advice from your doctor if you believe you may have contracted covid and alert your facility manager if you have visited the location prior to your onset of symptoms. You can complete a self check at testiowa.com and get scheduled to receive a test for the virus.
  • Small Group Performance Training (all locations)
    • Training Schedule:
      • MWF – 5am, 6:10am, 12pm, 4:20pm, 5:30pm, 6:40pm
      • T/TH – 5am, 6:10am, 4:20pm, 5:30pm, 6:40pm
      • Sat – 8am, 9:10am
    • Groups will consist of 12 or less athletes
    • 6ft Social Distancing – (2 athletes per station)
    • Masks are optional
    • Use designated lanes during your session
    • Bookings ARE REQUIRED
  • Open Gym Sessions (all locations – not available during group sessions)
    • Training Schedule:
      • MWF – 8am-11:30am, 1:30pm-4pm, 8pm-4:30am
      • T/TH – 8am-4pm, 8pm-4:30am
      • Weekend: Sat – 10:30am – Mon 4:30am
    • Masks are optional
    • 6ft Social Distancing
    • Booking is no longer required
  • General Gym Protocols
    • All Athletes must fill out covid waiver prior to booking (check your email
    • Follow Cleaning Guidelines after use during un-staffed hours posted at each location
    • Wipe down anything touched/used
    • Sign off on cleaning before exiting
    • No children under 16 allowed right now
    • No High Risk Individuals – CDC/IDPH Guidelines for High Risk Individuals
    • Gloves will not be available for daily use, purchase only
    • Showers will remain closed
    • Athletes will not have access to adjust Music/TV during un-staffed hours
    • Athletes will have access to T.E.A.M. Training Videos during staffed hours only
    • Staff will be required to wear masks during their scheduled work hours and will be subject to daily health checks at our discretion
    • Athletes will be provided with Cleaning/Sanitation Stations for use at each location. (3 week delay for delivery from 5/7/20)
