You read that right. Coach Zach eats chili all year round and his chili contest won the local chili cook off, but it’s too much to type so you will have to listen to the podcast to hear more about that.
Also, Our Krave word of the week this week is MINDFULLNESS! The quality or state of being conscious or aware of something. Living IN THE MOMENT!
Many of us are hoping to fulfill numerous plans – wanting “more” and “better” when it comes to jobs, health, money, relationships, etc. While there’s nothing wrong with wanting “better” and “more” in these areas, the constant chase can leave us exhausted and not happy where we are currently at!
1. Stop giving attention to all of your thoughts. Especially the ones we don’t need at that moment. BE PRESENT.
2. Take inventory of your life and start living in the moment. Be proud of how far you have come and CELEBRATE all of the things you have in your life right now.
Yes, it takes work but try to remember that worrying today won’t change what happens tomorrow. Every second you spend wanting more is a second of the present wasted. Life in the moment moves quickly — don’t miss it.
Our AOTW this week is one of the most humble + talented Athletes at Krave. Damen Dixon absolutely crushes his workouts every time he is in and is not too bad at winning Championships either! On top of that he LOVES fast food and considers himself a fast food connoisseur.
